Community Update
🚨 Protect Our Rural Land: Fraziers Development on Fischer Road
A proposal is under review to build a gas station and convenience store at the corner of Fischer, Major, and Shaw Roads; known as Fraziers at Hall’s Corner.
This property is currently Rural Conservation land, meant to protect Coweta’s open spaces, wildlife, and rural charm. Many residents are concerned this could set a precedent for more commercial development in protected areas.
Why it matters:It’s not because we’re tree-hugging here, it’s because these conservation areas are part of what makes Coweta special.
Protecting Rural Character: Once rural land turns commercial, it’s hard to go back.
Traffic & Safety: The Fischer intersection is already busy, adding more vehicles could make it unsafe.
Environment & Property Values: Gas stations bring runoff, emissions, and potential impacts on nearby homes.
If you believe Coweta’s rural beauty is worth protecting, your voice matters.

Local Tails: Meet Bodhi

Our featured pet of the week, submitted by one of our readers!
This lovable fluffball is proof that good looks can make up for… well, let’s just say he’s not exactly solving puzzles anytime soon. 🤭
Bodhi’s favorite pastime? Waiting for a taste of his dad’s cooking; preferably something grilled, smoky, or honestly, anything at all. He loves his dad almost as much as he loves food… almost. ❤️
